Myrna is a consummate entrepreneur who lends creativity and innovation to anything she does. For the past 23 years, her career has been focused on facilitating learning in order to motivate and inspire others. Her passion is to facilitate processes that create "aha" moments and to mentor women so they can achieve their goals.
As a business owner and President of ProGroup Consulting, she provided leadership to her team, and to the many clients she worked with. She consulted with Fortune 500 executives, as well as program managers. Myrna is a recognized expert on workplace issues, and has been asked to speak at major conferences and been quoted in major publications.
With the sale of ProGroup in 2007, Myrna has dedicated herself to continue working her passion and sharing her experience with others. This passion has lead her to her most recent work--Coaching women business owners. This work has already received national attention from NAWBO, Women President's Organization, Minnesota Business Magazine,and W.I.S.E. Entrepreneur Institute at Syracuse University.
Myrna is the Chapter Chair for two Minnesota Chapters of Women President's Organization, a national organization of highly successful women business owners, where she is in touch with "real" issues and "brilliant" women.
Most recently she founded The Business Women's Circle , an association of women business owners dedicated to bottom-line success through their participation in peer advisory circles.
Serving on the board of the YWCA of Minneapolis allows her to give back to the community through an organization dedicated to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of girls and women.
Myrna is also the co-creator of the WisePack™, the perfect women's backpack travel purse and she writes a blog called Travel Like A Princess.
An important part of Myrna's life these days is keeping close tabs on her twin grandsons Nate and Sam and their big brother Max. | |
